Omala

The valley of Omala has a very different landscape to the rest of the island, on either side the hills join the mountains and to one side is Mount Ainos, with the highest peak on the island. The valley is the home of the islands famous Rombola winery. The surrounding hills providing the perfect conditions for the grapes to grow. Also in the valley you will find the Monastery of Saint Gerasimos, the patron saint of the island.
